We were stopping at The Feathers so decided to give the menu a try for Sunday lunch. We both had the mushroom soup to start. It was thick and just flavoured enough with garlic and basil to make it a bit special. My partner had the risotto. It was a huge portion. I had roast beef with all the trimmings. It melted in the mouth and was just pink in the middle. The cauliflower cheese and sweet and spicy red cabbage that came with it were both fabulous. Another fulsome meal very well cooked and presented. If we stay in Ludlow again soon we would definitely have Sunday lunch here again. Three courses cost just £25 each. But only go for that option if you are very hungry indeed!
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner, with starters and dessert. Service was ok, staff friendly and polite. Cannot really fault anything apart from the bell from the kitchen for service. It is far too loud and interrupts the whole ambience. It wouldn’t stop me from returning but did get annoying after a while.
First time staying at the Feathers Hotel, there was an evening meal included in our deal plus breakfast next day. The food was excellent as was the service. Even our complimentary bottle of red wine was good. Would recommend eating there.
large eating, a high standard of quantity, which is also matched with the quantity. also the staff was excellent and more than to help out of the way. I would recommend to try the forks.

Great Sunday lunch, well presented and really well cooked, staff were friendly and attentive. Shame it wasn’t busier (it should be) as this would have helped the ambience a little.

very friendly, despite a late online booking that they did not know. eating was good and was what we needed after a long and more frustrating trip.
