I understand that not every meal can be perfect, but we did inform the waiter that the chicken and beef were tough. He was kind enough to relay this to the owner and the chef, only for the owner to respond by shouting that there were three pieces of beef left. To clarify, there were actually six pieces of beef in the curry. I ate one piece and left three untouched on my plate, while my husband tried to eat two but couldn’t manage it and only ate one. So, in total, there were seven pieces of very thinly sliced meat, five of which were left uneaten. The owner didn’t apologize but left it to the young staff member to do so. Visited here on a Tuesday evening for my wife's birthday, had a very good experience. The service was very friendly, we initially called, I think it was Dave who spoke to us on the phone to give us information where the restaurant was and booked a table for us, it was also Dave who greeted us when we arrived and took our order, his knowledge on the menu was amazing, I actually felt slightly bad with all the questions we were asking but Dave had an incredible knowledge of everything on the menu. The food was really delicious, the service very polite and friendly and the actual restaurant itself was very cosy and I really like how the kitchen is open and you can see the chefs making the food....
Partner and I went for a meal here. Just had the one course each. Her curry was OK, nice tasting I tried a bit. The meals and drinks were reasonably priced. Unfortunately mine, the pad Thai, was the worst one of these I 've ever had. I love these and try them often. Textureless and almost tasteless apart from some sour really unpleasant taste which may have been the beef. When I mentioned it the owner said Well you should have had something else . Maybe she was joking but no arguments there! Maybe we should have gone somewhere else! I don 't like leaving bad reviews but I feel its impossible not to people should be aware of not only the food but the staffs comment.
The food here is exceptional, and the ribs were absolutely breathtaking. The Thai red curry was tasty, but I'm looking forward to trying the green curry on my next visit. While the interior may be small, the menu is extensive, offering a great variety of dishes. The owner is friendly and helpful, ready to guide you through the options. Highly recommended! The only downside is that the kitchen is quite close to the dining area, which means that some food smells and smoke can drift around, causing a few people to cough. It's a minor issue, and I’ll definitely be back soon for that green curry and the incredible ribs! Réservez une table maintenant
Had the takeaway due to lockdown, first time trying this restaurant and indeed thai and it was a resounding success, both me and my wife loved the depth of flavour in our curries and starters. A little on the pricey side but well worth and will use them again. Perfect meal.
