I was visiting family and we decided to try the Thirsty Duck which I and they had never been to. We went three times in my short time to the area and every time the food was delicious. The first time I had the pear salad, goat cheese which I swapped out for feta and spicy pecans. It was so good, that I had it again the next time. The third time we went for dinner and I had the fish and chips which were fabulous and another person in our group had the beef dip and raved about it. So as you can suspect, my first meal when I return to the area is The Thirsty Duck. We stopped on our way home for lunch, my husband had a Duck burger and it was very good, exactly the way he ordered it. I had the shrimp wrap but placed on bread as a sandwich, it was absolutely delicious. Chips were o.k., I would order something else instead next time.You didn't get a huge serving for the price, but I would return for that shrimp sandwich again. The service was o.k. a little slow when asked for ketchup & vinegar, but otherwise she made us feel good to be there.
Well I've never tried kangaroo before, but this place had a burger. I can't say I'm a fan of what kangaroo tastes like... like seafoody beef? Anyways! They have great wraps and burgers, and your typical pub-fair eatables. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to open a bigger beer selection than the usual big-brand stuff like Bud.

Everything about this place was amazing! We sat outside and had the most delicious lunch. Our server was super friendly and really funny. I am very happy we decided to stop here on an impromptu road trip from our home in the Okanagan. We love finding these hidden gems!
