I had a fantastic experience last night at The Cuisine of India in Castlegar. I was truly impressed with the service and the atmosphere in this small town in British Columbia. The lassi drinks were delightfully sweet, and I had the best vegetable samosas I've ever tasted. Their mint and tamarind sauces for the samosas were served chilled and perfectly blended. The roti bread, pulao rice, and spicy lamb saag were all expertly prepared. If you're in search of authentic, well-crafted, and delicious Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't hesitate to ask the staff any questions about unfamiliar dishes; they were incredibly helpful!

I ordered the lamb curry lunch special for $17.99. The meal came on a generous thali with several items. The food was decent, but I found the service to be even better. While I believe the flavors are suitable for the local crowd, I personally prefer my dishes to be spicier. The restaurant itself had a pleasant and clean atmosphere, and the lady at the front was very friendly.

This is one of our favourite places to dine in and take out! The food is always consistently great, portions are large, prices are reasonable, and staff are pleasant. One of the best all-around restaurants in Castlegar, in my opinion.

The dishes are very flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. Definitely worth the price! We tried the lamb and the butter chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Easily one of the best restaurants in Castlegar. Super tasty and the heat is as little or as much (if you are brave) as you want.
