The Toad Stool Pub And

Excellent small local pub, my wife and I went to lunch today and I couldn't believe the quality of the food. We shared the croquette cheesery: amazing! You just don't find this kind of app in a regular pub. I had the spicy chicken and bacon with the sweet potato fries everything about it was right! Fresh vegetables, amazing chicken and the pumice were so good. My wife had the Ruck Chicken Tacos and they were simply amazing what an explosion of flavors in your mouth! I also thought that the food presentation was like an expensive pub in downtown (still with a local pub price): elegant, clean dishes and from what I could say nothing was placed in the microwave. Our server was great, super polite, knowledgeable and of great service overall. Last point: I love the fact that they work with some local breweries (old flame in Port Perry and Brock Street in Whitby). I am a great fan of supporting local business and my wife and I left the pub today with a strong desire to come back. We cannot wait to try the other unique things on the menu. As a bonus we sat outside in the terrace and looked at the Harmony Bach Reserve and heard birds and nature. Congratulations for a little business that, in our opinion, brings a lot of value to our neighborhood. We're fans now!

Being here a few times and every time is great. Talking to the owner tonight and he's super nice and passionate about his restaurant. The food is homemade and not frozen. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. We had Buffalo cauliflowers, a drunk chicken sandwich and Philly Steak Flatbread. So amazing. Can't wait to try the terrace.

Well this was a fun little place! Tucked away little gem, it is! Was on Durham Region Eats (FB) looking for best wings for the hubby. He was happy. I was happy. I ordered the vegetarian stir fry and it was very nice. Service was quick and fairly priced. It has a wee patio outside that would be ideal for any of you hikers at Harmony Park looking for a bite.

We had a nice terrace. Quaint and quiet with a green space scene. The beer was cold and the food was great. The server was funny and friendly. Bathrooms are clean, restaurant is also very nice with many seating. No complaints!!

Superb. Owner is a good dude. I ate here twice this week and ordered obscure menu items. They were amazing! If I lived close to here I'd be here all the time! Everybody needs to swing in ASAP
