What a little gem!!. The food was fabulous and the service was magnificent. The price of the wine was very reasonable. We both had the cheese and leek soufflé, my wife had the lamb cooked nice and pink and I had the hake. However the star of the night was the soufflé. It was stunning, light as a feather. It was the best starter we have had in a long time. Superb restaurant and deserves all the five star reviews it gets
This place deserves all the great reviews that it has already received. We had a superb meal here. The food could not be faulted and it was some of the best cooking we have ever tasted. The two front of house ladies were both friendly and knowledgeable and were very professional. Worth a visit here if you are in the area or live a hundred miles away. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.
My partner and I had a delightful 4 course meal here over Easter weekend (nibbles/starter/main/dessert). The food was excellent. Shout out to the focaccia 'nibble ', venison main, and cheese and leek soufflé starter, which were exceptional. The staff were very friendly and gave us some other local recommendations for our time in the area. Absolutely recommend!
Thank you so much for making my birthday celebration special! We had a wonderful evening yesterday, and Lydia went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The whole experience was fantastic, and I couldn't have asked for more. We loved the Prosecco upon arrival and the lovely candles. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back! I just returned home from Duck, and the meal was absolutely delicious. The portion was perfect—not too small and not excessively large, just right. The duck breast was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth, and the apple rhubarb crisp served in a delightful little bowl was exactly what I needed tonight. I can't wait to come back again soon!
The service was excellent, the prices were affordable, and dining here was truly a pleasure. The attention to detail was outstanding; it was clear that a tremendous amount of thought went into every decision made in the creation of their beautiful dishes and drinks.
