The portion sizes are generous, the menu has a fantastic variety, and everything was full of flavor—the food was simply outstanding. Our experience was just mediocre. It might have been better if we had a different server, as our waitress seemed uninterested. Every time she delivered food, she touched it with her fingers, which was quite unappetizing. Most of the dishes tasted like they had come directly from a freezer or a can; some were bland while others were over-seasoned. One member of our group ordered the perogies with toppings, and unfortunately, the toppings were excessively cheesy.
I went there on Halloween weekend, and the restaurant was lively and busy. Even with the crowd, our food came out swiftly. Salbe restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like home. If you're coming for lunch, be prepared for slower service; there's only one bartender and server handling everything. It's not their fault, and we didn't mind the leisurely pace since we weren't in a hurry.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service and food were both outstanding. I had lunch there, and the cost per person was approximately $10–20. I would give the food a perfect score of 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 too. I highly recommend it!
Charming restaurant with a cozy, local atmosphere. If you visit for lunch, don't anticipate a quick experience. There’s only one bartender/server for the entire establishment, which isn't her fault. We didn't mind the wait since we weren’t in a hurry.
My friend and I relaxed outside under a shady tree, sipping drinks and snacking after our kayaking adventure. The service was outstanding—our server was both friendly and efficient. The food was truly delicious!
