A hearty breakfast spot with some of the best tasting peameal bacon I have had in a while. Food portions were excellent and worth the price paid per dish. The breakfast potatoes were on point soft inside with that crispy outer skin, just delicious! They also serve baked beans with their breakfast dishes which is a taste and belly warming touch. Nonsense food!Went here for lunch and was impressed by the simplicity of the restaurant and the menu. For a diner that is all you really need.I had the Cuban sandwich, which was very good. I have a taste for a bit more savory pulled pork, but this was still very good. The size was ideal for lunch, not too big that I wanted to have a nap afterwards! My eating partner had the BLT. I don’t normally post reviews, but this place deserves an accolade! Probably the best breakfast in a diner I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at a lot places. All the food was so fresh and generously portioned. Home fries were so well seasoned and the French toast was the best we’ve ever tasted before. Wow! A must come. Oh, and the service was top notch. Kristina killed it with her chef as they got a little slammed on a Wednesday. Still so friendly and as speedy as they could be. You won’t be disappointed, I can promise you that!
They said they have the best French Toast in the Providence so i had to give it a try. The crispy texture was a bonus. To be honest tho it wasn't the best but it was ok. They only add the bananas on top and not mixed in the batter same with the chocolate. The other meal was average nothing to brag about. Portion size was good and the nealvfilled me up. Friendly staff amd food was ready really quick. It reminded me of a clean Waffle House with great customer service. Réservez une table maintenant
Christina was delightful! We looked on the fb group Durham Region Eats for a new place to try. Glad we did. The White Apron was everything that everyone promised it would be. Food was delicious, portions were plentiful and the staff was friendly. Parking was easy at a meter spot just down the road. (We didn’t have to feed the meter as it was a weekend). We just fed ourselves and it was most enjoyable.
Just look at this sandwich ?????????? awesome place! Love their salmon eggs Benedict and Philly sandwich is my husband’s absolute favourite. Look at the portions too ? we don’t even have to get an extra meal for our kids because we can just share, that’s how big their portions are.Also I love that this place is a family owned restaurant Highly recommend this place, you won’t regret!
Happy to have another delicious breakfast place to enjoy around the area! Brunch is my favorite meal of the day :)What I found most impressive are their sausages. Very tasty, great portions, and well cooked. Overall they serve very satisfying meals here.The only thing that lacked a little was the service. Maybe they were having an off day though.I will for sure be back again!
