The Wild Duck - Réserver une table

A party of 9 stopped here for drinks. It was 1.30 but the website said it closed at 2. 5 of us arrived first with one dog and waited for the other 4 with another dog. It was quite busy and the lady who greeted was quite pleasant . We asked if we were ok to have a drink, she said that’s fine but we couldn’t order food. We ordered drinks we she said she would bring to our table so we took a seat. In the mean time the rest of our party had joined us. The other waitress brought the first drinks over, pulled a face at the dogs and said they weren’t allowed on the carpets so we moved closer to the bar. Unfortunately there was only one table that seated 4 so the men stood around our table. The wait...

Booked in for evening meal while on holiday in the area. Excellent meals, large portions Would definitely recommend but would ask for a different table next time as there was constant 'traffic right next to our table from a group seated in the annexe with children and teenager running past. Not really the fault of the staff but it did detract from what would have been a 5* rating. Could not fault our meals and the pub is dog friendly.

I made a reservation for 13 people to celebrate a birthday at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. Everyone at the table had nothing but positive things to say. We have dined here a few times before and we will definitely return in the future.

Greate service food lovely and plentiful wife had Butterfly Chicken I had gaman no room for pudding would definitely recommend

Best ever roast beef and Yorkshire pudding gravy f k Yorkshire and Leeds Could not fault food and service I will be back
