I work nearby and stop by this restaurant for breakfast and lunch almost every day. In the mornings, I usually pick up some fruit and a bagel, and for lunch, I really enjoy the Baja salad without cheese. The service here is outstanding. I've tried every sandwich on the menu, and my top choices are the Baja Sandwich, Mojo, Chuck's Choice, and Chelsea Chicken on a jalapeño bagel. They even created a custom cake for my son's birthday with a Five Nights at Freddy's theme, and he loved it! Lastly, if you're looking for a strong caffeine jolt, the Monkey Mocha is fantastic. A coworker of mine tried it and ended up cleaning her house at 2 AM, haha!
As a first-time customer, I ordered their Turkish sandwich with avocado on a soft roll. I returned to the office feeling excited, but ultimately I was disappointed. The sandwich was surprisingly small—more akin to a homemade version with regular bread—and at $10, it didn't seem worth the price. It had only one slice of turkey, which was quite disappointing. The ratio of bread to meat was completely off, resulting in a sandwich that was overly packed with mayo, tomatoes, and salad. Unfortunately, this experience hasn’t left me eager to return anytime soon.
I love this place! Not only are they happy to see you when you walk in, they greet you and want to get to know you. My all time favorite is the open bagel sandwich with cream cheese, tomato and green onion with melted cheese. I always add ham which make the sandwich AWESOME! If you have not tried their desserts and pastries you are missing out. It is always very moist, very tasteful and meets my sugar craving. They make it easy to be a returning customer.
Update: I returned to have my coffee corrected, and they didn't question the mistake at all. They were very friendly, and this time, the staff washed their hands right away. Although my drink still had some coffee grounds, it was at least drinkable.
