Went out with our friend for his 49th Birthday, had a lovely meal, service was excellent, food delicious and very reasonably priced. Me and hubby had lamb, which was very tender, Bangladeshi birthday boy was vegan and was not disappointed. Staff very friendly, a bit excessive with the hand shaking,but that's my English reserve !. The place was full on a Wednesday night, with mainly locals, so whatever they are doing, they are doing right. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment! Came up from Sussex through attrocious weather for a funeral next day. Stayed at The Crown Inn next door and popped in here for evening meal on pub landlady's recommendation. Had that yesteryear feel about it, which I love no glitz, just good food, service and prices give it a try if you like a more traditional vibe Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The experience at this restaurant is always exceptional. We dined in for lunch and found the price per person to be £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
