We traveled from London to visit my mother and stepfather who live in Liverpool. We have been to many Toby Carvery restaurants and have not had the best experiences, but Ormskirk was amazing! Ollie, our server, was fantastic - a young guy with a warm smile and a very cheerful attitude. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. I highly recommend this Toby Carvery and we will definitely be back. I hope Ollie is working next time we visit. Even when we thanked him, he extended his hand to thank us back, which was very sweet. The food was delicious and all of the staff were friendly.
Came in for our easter Sunday dinner yesterday and we had a great time. We were greeted at the door by the lovely chris who took us to our table. Our server Billy was very attentive and made sure everything was okay with our food and made us feel comfortable and made us laugh, a credit to the team. The food was amazing and fresh served by the chef victor. There were loads of options for vegetarians and meat eaters with a huge selection of veg. Thank you we will be coming again.
we had a beautiful meal served by an excellent waitress called olivia. she was very knowledgeable when we asked about eating and the drinks that served Toby carabin. she was quick to serve us and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. When we finished our meal, she came over politely and asked if we had finished our eating and if she could take away the dishes. she is an extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable young lady and she is a credit for the restaurant.
the service was exemplary, my companion is gluten free and the staff made every effort to accommodate her needs. The food was excellent, a good portion of roasted meats from the carvery and an interesting array of vegetables, including a leek bake and a parsnip and potato gratin. The only area for improvement was that there were no pigs in blankets. These had to be bought as an extra.

tomorrow morning to breakfast. nice warm welcome as soon as we entered and the selection in the self service was very good and there was a lot of it. the sausages were really good quality, not like cheap chippys and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Missing just a little black pudding, but I have given it 5 stars and will certainly come back in the future.
Went for breakfast, the food and selection was good and I’d definitely go back again. Only negative is the lack of food availability, I understand they try to keep it fresh which is great. However, you are often waiting for items to be brought out to the buffet and with everyone doing the same often fresh food is all gone if your not quick.
I have visited multiple Toby Carvery locations and this one did not disappoint. I always appreciate the variety of sides offered, which provide great value for money. I was able to book a table on short notice and had no trouble getting in, even on a weekend. I will likely return in the future.
brilliant carvery! excellent value for money and eating and the sides are excellent. I had the king size, but not really needed because the yorkshires are a country in themselves and was too full for the chipolatas. will definitely go back. great service from personal.

very friendly staff. we only had snacks that were delicious and freshly prepared. next time we'll have the carvery. that looked nice. very clean and much well spaced tables, ideal for couples or families. worth a visit!
