Tonias Deli General Store

I'm always searching for the perfect Italian sub sandwich. When I drove past Tonia's and saw it was voted the best deli on the South Shore, I decided to give it a try. The sub was decent, but it didn't blow me away. I was disappointed that the pickles weren't dill; instead, they were the sweet bread-and-butter variety. The price was reasonable, and the service was friendly. However, I probably won’t be in a hurry to return, and my quest for the ultimate Italian sub continues.

I picked up two Italian subs today, loaded with all the toppings! They are undoubtedly the best Italian subs on the South Shore! I’ll definitely be returning! It’s a wonderful family business with fantastic staff!
