This evening 13th May 2023 I ordered my food after a long day in Essex at a football tournament. As always the fish and chips were well cooked, tasty and delicious. The tall young blonde man who served me was exceptionally warm and friendly. He gave me such a warm welcome with his friendliness, attention to detail and customer care. A true asset to this already excellent fish and chip shop!Thank you young man. Meal type: Dinner

I've been enjoying gluten-free fish and chips from this place for years. It's the only fish and chip shop within miles that offers gluten-free options six days a week, consistently at a high standard and at reasonable prices. Since moving to London, I've been on the lookout for gluten-free fish and chips, but nothing compares. I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in town. This place is truly underrated!

This is the best fish and chip shop in the area! The owners are incredibly friendly, and they offer fantastic gluten-free options. If you have dietary restrictions, you'll love their gluten-free battered fish—it’s excellent! I usually get takeout for dinner, and the price per person is around £10 to £20. Highly recommended!

The service was quick and the staff were very courteous. This is the only fish and chip shop in the area that offers gluten-free options, and the prices are very reasonable. This village fish and chips shop has everything you could ask for, including fantastic personal service. The food is simple yet delicious. Overall, I would rate it 5 for Food, 5 for Service, and 5 for Atmosphere.
