Having two Thai children, having a house in Thailand and having had Thai food for years, I know what Thai food is and what it should taste like. While the restaurant was 'nice ', the food is so watered down that the Panang curry chicken I had was tasteless. Guys, if I go Thai, I expect Thai. Not a watered-down flavorless grot for farangs. If you want a really good Panang curry, go to Aroy Restaurant in Cha-Am, Thailand or Thai Spicy at No 1 Shopping Centre in Cabramatta.Yes, the restaurant has a great ambience in terms of architecture and layout but no one smiles. A few grumpy Malay-Singaporeans-Chinese, I 'm guessing? Standing around, fearful, waiting for the master to reprimand the staff....
Drinks took a little while to find their way to our table once we had ordered them, which was a little frustrating. Otherwise good service. The food was the highlight though, with very fresh ingredients and a nice balance of flavors. The only feedback would be that the crumb coating on the duck was a little too much. The laksa was absolutely great though, as were all other dishes including entrees. I've been here a couple of times now and would recommend a seat outside if the weather permits, there's a lovely balmy atmosphere that works perfectly with asian food.
We had chicken Satay skewers, gow gee and dim sum for entree and all were spot on.Mains were the Shandon Chicken which was very tasty and a stir fry with beef and oyster sauce. Food stood out in the Mackay Asian market as well above the average. An hour later, I was till commenting on the very pleasant tastes still lingering on my palate. We will definitely be back!
Had a lovely meal there today. There is 1 other asian restaurant I prefer in Mackay but they unfortunately have no ambience. This place has it in abundance. I'll definately be back.

We have been here on two occasions and both times the food was great. It has a good atmosphere and great Thai food. Lovely place to go and have a few drinks as well.
loved their coconut prawns entrée - went back a couple of times for them. All dishes were very mild with minimal heat in them. But very tasty overall
Our dinner was Good and the Service great. Was of to a show and had Early dinner. They where very accommodating.
We love their food! Dine in, take away and delivery. Good food, good prices, relaxed place. Nice, easy location.
