I have had a bad run in local restaurants as of late. True vine which I have been to several time is usually a treat but Saturday was a different story. I ordered the catfish shrimp and samon platter. Asked to delete the samon and add an order of the Jalapeño hush puppies. And the okra and fried green tomato appetizer. The apps were good. When dinner arrived my first bite of the catfish had a very strong blood line flavor which shows the filet was not prepared properly at least to my taste). The shrimp were pretty good. I did not like the tartar sauce with the liquid smoke that was a real but unpleasant first. The hush puppies were not jalapeño and they were not fresh Luke warm and a bit gre...
We have gone to this place a few times. It 's OK . It 's close to my house so I think that 's one of the determining factors of going there. I can say that the fried okra is awesome there! It 's crispy but not burnt and very well seasoned. The catfish was OK. Wished they offered more sides that didn 't contain pork. Overall, food is decent, but it won 't blow your socks off.
Oh my goodness! This restaurant is the bomb! LOL! The food... Amazing. The customer service... phenomenal. The speed... Hasty!!! LOL. This is my second time here and I've had two appetizers(THAT CHEESE THANG and 8pc Buffalo Wings) and two entrees(Soul bowl and shrimp and grits) and it was delicious. 10 out of 10 would always recommend! LOL
The food was flavorful, but the presentation left much to be desired. Additionally, the process of ordering requires you to wait in line and then pick up your meal when it’s ready, which feels not much different from fast food. When I go to a fast food establishment, I expect fast food prices, but this place was more expensive.

Stopped by here on a whim. The service was great, the food was okay. We tried a few things, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, meatloaf, fried tomatoes, okra fries and it was all okay. The cornbread was good. It's not a bad spot, the food was good just not great. Service was amazing. 3.5 stars if I could.
Best grits I've ever tasted, hands down. Next time I'm ordering a pot of that stuff. If I'm ever near that place again, I'm making a special stop for those grits. French toast was equally excellent. A must visit.
This restaurant is permanently closed. Bummer! Yelp needs to have a way for us to report this. I didn't want to taste them poorly as they have other locations.
Great atmosphere, outstanding staff, and delicious food. We’ll definitely return. Each of us ordered a different entree, and they were all worth trying again!
