Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood Crab Rosemont

I had attended a by invitation tasting back when they first opened and always wanted to return. Well, with a few extra off days at work, I made a point of it and am glad I did. Sat at the bar for dinner I noticed many others doing the same. They had an extensive wine list with a good by the glass selection, so I opted for a Pouilly Fuisse and an Italian Red. Both were good picks. Decided to start my dinner with a Lobster Bisque. Nicely served and great taste not the best bisque I've ever had but still tasteful and pleasing. Birthday celebration for my wife was an enjoyable evening. Unfortunately we were delayed arriving for our reservation but the front desk couldn't have been more accommodating. Our dinner was terrific with three of us enjoying filets and my wife the crab legs. Two of the steaks came out under cooked but the staff was terrific in resolving the issue. Truffle fries and cream spinach were delicious as sides. The manager stopped by and was very helpful. In addition to the crème brûlée, the server brought us three other desserts as a make up for the steaks. Nice work! I'll be back.

The appetizer we ordered was excellent when it finally arrived. However, our main course never made it out of the kitchen. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it seems the kitchen really missed the mark! Even the bartender was confused about why our dinner hadn't come out. We waited nearly 35 minutes for the appetizers, and then an additional 45 minutes after that without any sign of our main dishes. While the bartender's service was good, the overall food experience really fell short due to the lack of follow-through.

This was a great experience on all fronts. I made a last minute reservation for my b-day for i was looking for some fresh oysters. The hostess accommodated me with a smile and ask where i would like to sit. We had a high top in the bar area near the beautiful voiced piano singer. The service was great, Ashley and Pam were attentive, charming and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. They also have a great wine list. We will be regulars. Réservez une table maintenant

superb!!! anniversary!!!! Larissa you are great , enjoy your birthday!!!!! We had the most wonderful time, the seafood is always the freshest and lobster bisque is divine. Please continue to be the best in the Chicago land area!!!!!

This was my third visit, and I have to say it was amazing! The service deserves 5 stars, the food is also a perfect 5 stars, and the ambiance is absolutely fantastic—another 5 stars. You definitely shouldn’t miss this place!

Roger our server is great and a one of a kind person! We celebrated my birthday there and had a blast! The host staff was excellent too! Very friendly and inviting! Overall a 10/10 experience!
