This Italian spot has great vegan pizza. I even brought my friend here who isn't vegan, and she loved it. They also offer vegan calzones, vegan sandwiches, and vegan cookie dough ice cream. It's hard to find vegan pizza in Astoria, so this place is definitely a hidden gem. The pizzas are brick-oven baked, and super thin and crispy. I can only give it 4 stars though, because the restaurant is not 100% vegetarian.
We went there for lunch with a non-vegan friend and all of us were really happy with the food. It's a cozy place where you also have the choice to sit outside. They have a separate page for vegan meals in the menu which I liked a lot because as a vegan you can just skip the rest of the stuff and don't have to look for tiny labels that mark the things you can eat.
Recently in the area while my husband had a business seminar near Laguardia. This place came up as a vegan option. They have 3-4 vegan pizzas which are delicious! We had one with Daiya, vegan sausage, basil, mushrooms and a really yummy sauce. They also have a few vegan panninis. Only cons-parking is tough, music is very loud and they don't have a vegan dessert.
