Well I am not keen on writing this review simply because I don't want word to get out on how nice it was. We went there for a mothers day breakfast. I had heard quite a few positive reviews about this place and was keen to try it. Most times we are either flying in or flying out and don't get the time to visit the restaurant. I loved the menu! It was really different compared to the usual big aussie brekky. I ordered the 'Cure' which consisted of bacon, eggs, pan fried Eungella garlic mushrooms, spinach, sausage, sourdough and tomato relish. It was provided on the biggest white dinner plate I have seen ever! It made the meal look small but it certainly wasn't. There was even a hash brown add...
The entrè we ordered was spring rolls that were advertised as a share platter.. We paid $11 and got two average Spring rolls the size of the ones you'd expect to get from a takeaway shop. Definitely NOT worth $5.50 each!I tried to order a cocktail (being a Saturday night), only for the barmaid to tell me they didn't have the ingredients. Behind her was a full selection of spirits. As we were the only customers at the time of ordering, it's not as though she was too busy to make one non-premixed drink. Nice look inside the new building however did not match the service that had been advertised. It was also disappointing that the full menu was not available for order. Not what we were expectin...
Had a nice dinner here on our stopover. This is not ( and does not make out to be ) a fine dining or a la carte restaurant. Its a great place to get a choice of light, on the run meals with a good choices of beverages. Staff are very friendly, good dining facilities and food is exceptionally well prepared and presented. Try the Workers Burger... it comes served on a shovel head! They also accept Accor Club cards .... and have the get 2, but only pay for 1 meal offer. Very enjoyable.
The 300g steak was edible but not a nice cut of meat it was full of sinew and gristle. The chips were soggy because they served the meal with the steak right on top. The pork belly was terrible. It had a rubbery texture and it was under seasoned. It was nothing like a good pork belly should be.The breakfast was better. We had the cure. It was beautiful. The only thing I didn't like were the mushrooms they tasted weird. Everything else on the plate was spot on though.

Stayed here for 8 nights for work reasons , menu has not changed in 7 months and its a very limited menu . To be fair its is average food average service . After 3 nights im over the menu . No room service , beds are comfortable, aircon is pretty noisy . I will try elsewhere next time around .
Had dinner here on Valentine's Day & could not fault it, best feed we've had in Mackay! Food was delicious & staff were so helpful & friendly. The only thing that could top it is table service. Thank you for a great night, we'll definitely be back!
Went for the $12 snitzel night on Wednesday, after hearing they are using fresh local produce. The snitzel was not a fresh chicken breast, like a frozen chicken breast. Not nice, would have been happy to pay more for real chicken!
Stopped in for a quick bite before heading into town and had the most amazing pork belly that I have ever had. Absolutely fantastic. Great friendly staff and incredibly quick service

The food being produced was of an excellent standard, with great portions, offering suggested wines to match your main. Breakfast was great, and quick.
Great breakfast after a good nights sleep. Excellent Service from a very friendly and efficient staff.
