**Food and Service:** Our dinner reservation was at 4:30 PM, just ahead of the dinner rush. For the first part of our meal, the atmosphere was quite peaceful, but by 5:30 PM, the restaurant quickly filled up. The waitstaff and our server were exceptional, providing the high level of service one would expect from Disney. Our waitress, Jelly, was not only friendly but also wonderfully efficient. She kept us updated on when characters would be making their rounds.

A buffet in Animal Kingdom that offers character meet and greets. I'd recommend booking a reservation around 10:30 AM, so you can enjoy both the breakfast and lunch menus (breakfast ends at 11), although I'm a larger fan of the breakfast options.It's labelled as an African restaurant when there's only a few African dishes. Good food for both foodies and picky eaters!Tusker House is a character dining restaurant that is served buffet style. The offerings here are well balanced with African fare, as well as simple foods like a salad bar, Mac n cheese, and roasted chicken.Some of my favorites were the black eyed pea salad, the za'tar braised beef, and the harira soup. Everything was seasoned to perfection and my kids were happy with the corn dogs, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. Being lactose intolerant, I did wish there were more than one offering of dairy-free desserts. Pro-tip: make a breakfast reservation for 10:30/10:45 and you can enjoy both breakfast and lunch items and be charged the breakfast price.
We had reservations and still waited almost 40 mins before we could get in, super annoying. Very pricey for the type of food, however, you're paying for the opportunity to meet Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy. It's a big event when they come out, so likely the reason we didn't get seated on time. So on the other hand, our little one met all the characters without waiting in a line-up which was super special. The food for breakfast is run of the mill eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, pancakes, cereal, etc, like you would find at a resort in Cuba. However, the Mickey waffles are pretty cute and picture worthy.

I went 3 days ago, it was a wonderful experience, excellent to go with children because the food is varied and there are Mickey Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donal Duck and Goofy. The service is spectacular, we were served by Brett who was friendly and helpful at all times. Really the best and I will go back as soon as I can.Food: 5/5
This was our first character meal on the trip. As expected it was really noisy but we were seated in a corner to wasn’t too bad. The food was good, lots of choice and probably not one for picky eaters but a good mix of African inspired foods. Our waiter Ashley was super friendly and attentive and the characters fun.
My nephews who are 2, 4, and 6 absolutely loved meeting the safari-themed characters. Each character spent ample time at each table and were quite patient with the children. The food was surprisingly decent for buffet food. While the cost may be high, it's well worth it to see the smiles!!
Fun time at Tusker House. Everyone was friendly from the hostess to our waiter we were well taken care of. The food was good for buffet and the character were great to come around and made it a festive atmosphere. Don't know that we would do it again but was a positive experience.

As for vegetarian options, there is a decent selection available for both vegetarians and vegans. My mom, who is a strict vegetarian, was pleased to find a variety of dishes that catered to her tastes.
