When I got there at 10:30 and waited in a very long line which, I didn’t mind I placed my order for all the items I was looking for when I got up to the the window at 10:46 am the lady at the window said we out of grits and it’s time to go anyway ? REALLY ? )Do you really tell a consumer it’s time to close and go anyway and then I also ask her while she was taking my order if she would add a drink on she didn’t say anything. So when I got to the window she said we out of drinks we only have sweet tea. Again do you really train your employees to dismiss any request from your consumers who HELP keep YOUR BUSINESS UP AND RUNNING. You should be ashamed to have people like this working for you. O...
The food is hit or miss. By the time you stay in line and finally get your food and then get home, you'll no longer be hungry. Yes, they are THAT slow.And they only accept checks and cash. So if you're new to the restaurant and sit in line, you won't find out until you get to the ordering screen (I've done it before).So if you don't have any cash on you and you find that part out late, you have to sit in the slow line for nothing.
The food is consistently excellent. However, I wish they would offer a selection of beverages. The drive-thru is quite small and it's easy to damage your rims when pulling in. Additionally, the cash-only policy raises some eyebrows regarding tax compliance, just putting it out there.
There's always a line, but it's definitely worth the wait! I love the biscuits, and my wife really enjoys the sandwiches. The lady at the window is always very nice and even remembers that I only eat apple jelly.
