Bad food and even worse attitude. Ordered wings and pizza for dinner. The food was obviously stale (perhaps someone else’s cancelled order? . The pizza was all burnt from heating in the oven again and the wings were awful, super dry and impossible to eat. We asked them why the wings were so dry and hardened? He (who claimed to be the store manager!! got all angry and very rudely took the food from our table!! I thought we would at least get our money back but he refused to issue a refund. So no food and no money!! This is what he said: “if you wanted fresh food you should’ve said so”. I was in the mood for pizza for dinner and decided to try this place. There were no other customers so I was able to order right away. The man at the front was friendly and quickly arranged for us to sit outside. Although I had the option of going to Mulberry Pizzeria or Fresh Brothers across the street, I chose to stay here. I ordered the mushroom and pepperoni pizza with some BBQ wings. The food came out fresh and hot, reminding me of the delicious pizza I've had in New York. I ordered delivery, to their credit it was about 20 minutes before closing so I understand how that might be frustrating but the pizza lacked love. First I paid for extra cheese and I can say that it did not at all have extra cheese. Next the pizza could have been cooked a minute longer give it that crust and no flop. The pizza is thin crust. I was not a fan of the dough or the pizza sauce but they had great quality cheese that was not oily or heavy. That part was great. I also ordered some chicken fingers. Nothing to rave about, I wouldn't try that again. Ultimately I'll give this place one more shot.
Today, I visited a restaurant on Beverly Drive to pick up a few slices to go. I was shocked to hear the cook coughing and blowing his nose without wearing a mask. When I asked for a refund, the employee, Jackson, refused and claimed there was no manager on site. After insisting on speaking to a manager, Jackson threatened to call security on me. I managed to record the exchange and eventually spoke to a manager over the phone. Despite being promised a callback to refund my money, I have yet to receive one. I appreciate that this restaurant offers vegan pizza with unique toppings like broccoli. However, the two pizzas we ordered had an excessive amount of cheese that was very tangy and tart. If it's a blend of cheeses, there may be too much vegan Parmesan, which was overpowering and a bit overwhelming. It's a shame because without the excess cheese, the pizza would be great, but unfortunately, you can't taste much else besides the cheese.
We recently ordered lunch delivery from this restaurant and were incredibly impressed. The food was fantastic, earning a perfect 5-star rating. We highly recommend trying the Margherita Pizza, it was absolutely delicious. The price per person falls within the $20–30 range, making it a great value for the quality of the meal. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and will definitely be ordering from here again.
Had to try some local pizza and got a big slice of cheese. It was definitely NY style you had to fold it to eat it and the flavor was right on. Cooked nice and crunchy for the crust it was good! 3.95 for the cheese slice isn't too bad either. Staff was very friendly and there is tables both indoor and out front. Burnt pizza, the crust so burnt that it cracked a tooth. I asked for it to be taken away, then instead ate it, understood, he was sure that when I got home, and finding a burnt pizza, I didn't I would have said nothing.
