This may be my new favourite restaurant in Chicagoland — an opinion shared by my family. We enjoyed stellar food. Even by non-vegetarian standards. The Tom Kha soup and spicy eggplant (which also tastes great mild) are fantastic. The curry we tried was also very good. The soy “chicken” has excellent texture and flavour, whether soft or battered. One plate per person is a reasonable serving size.
Vegan Plate Chicago is a culinary gem in the city! From the warm ambiance to the friendly staff, every visit is delightful. The menu offers creative, flavorful dishes that showcase vegan cuisine at its best. Don't miss their incredible burgers and decadent desserts. I can’t believe I’ve driven by this place for 10 years and never given it a try. I’ve been eating Thai food my whole life and have been vegan for the past 5. That being said, when I tell you that this is THE BEST THAI FOOD I’VE EVER HAD… that INCLUDES non-vegan establishments. Don’t make the mistake I did. Go eat here, whether you’re vegan or not!
