Dined today. All the comments about the waitresses’ poor attitudes are true. After a few unpleasant interactions, I informed her, her attitude was making me uncomfortable and I won’t be returning. In response, she laughed and smirked. HA funny how she doesn’t care, when they already have poor business..I paid my bill with my card and noticed a 20% tip. The waitress in retaliation, ILLEGALLY charged my credit card a 20% tip without my consent/prior notice. I asked that she refund my card the tip and she denied my request because the restaurant allegedly charges everyone a 20% tip (their “machines are preset” like this). Reported them to the city and state for fraudulent practice. I did not in...

After a long bus journey to New York City, I was eager to enjoy a tasty Thai meal. My friend, who has lived in Queens his entire life, recommended Vera Thai during our drive to his apartment. I decided to stop in for takeout, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The portion sizes were small, and the flavors were lacking. My green curry was overwhelmingly thin with coconut milk, causing the rice to become overly soggy. Additionally, the dish was scarce on vegetables. The soup that came with my entree included just a few pieces of Napa cabbage and a single scallion, making it quite bland. Sadly, Vera Thai doesn’t offer the vibrant and exotic flavors that other Thai restaurants i...
I only come here when I don't feel like looking for parking in Woodside/Elmhurst, where the Thai food is much better. The food at Vera is hit or miss. The salads($10-15) are a joke and are the laziest I've ever seen... like a child, not a chef make the salads. The roti($8) is chewy and delicious but the smallest I've ever seen served (about the size of my hand). The fried rice($12-15)is tasty. The curry is great. I've had service, both wonderful and horrible. I haven't seen the waitress that seems to hate everyone in the world so I'm not sure if she's still there. The waitress I had last weekend was super friendly.
I ordered the sausage and red curry chicken, while my wife chose the salmon. She said hers was very good. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was delicious. The red curry had just the right level of heat. I had made the mistake of ordering green curry during my last visit, and although it was tasty, it was too spicy for my taste. The service here is consistently excellent. As a side note, it's easy to reach by the 7 train or the Q60 bus, and parking is hassle-free along the elevated 7 tracks. Réservez une table maintenant
I went for a quick lunch with my friends and the food was tasty. Just make sure that you ask for not spicy on some dishes if you really don’t like spicy ‘cause even when they say the dish comes medium, it’s really spicy. That happens to me with the green curry seafood noodles and green curry chicken sautéed. The pad Thai was just exquisite, and also the shrimp spring rolls. Also the outdoor dining spot got nice heaters.
The food was good but I asked for a drink which it was ok , I ask for a second drink, same drink and they forgot to put in a ingredients, I asked politely if they could put in the ingredient that they forgot, bartender/ server game me an attitude and told me that , it wasn’t missing anything, I told her to taste it , she put in the ingredients that they miss but had an attitude the rest of the day
I mainly ordered salad here, but they were incredibly delicious and satisfying! The flavors are less sweet compared to many other Thai restaurants, which makes it even better! I will definitely return to try other dishes.
Always dig this place. Have to really ask for spicy but that’s me. Tamarind duck is amaze. When eating inside the service is always so nice. I had some mango cocktail with a chili rim. 10/10 recommended. Réservez une table maintenant
Delicious food, great service and reasonable prices. Red curry has exactly the right amount of heat while the green is only for the courage. Parking is a breeze under the 7 line.
This is a fantastic restaurant on Queens Boulevard. The service is friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is delightful.

"Years ago I went and it was still a business in progress, walking around Times Square and promoting their food. After years, I went for the first time to the place and the food was so delicious overall. Congratulations!"
