I was pleasantly surprised that I had never been to this restaurant before. I am a fan of French cuisine, and this restaurant serves classic, delicious French dishes. The food is not overly complicated, but rather focuses on flavor and freshness. The cocktails were expertly made and the food was fantastic. I ordered the Black Bass and my picky husband had the steak, and we were both extremely pleased with our meals. Despite being short-staffed, the servers were attentive and apologetic for any delays. However, the food was well worth the wait. This is the perfect place to go when you want to relax and enjoy a high-quality meal.
My husband, our guest, and I had a fabulous Sunday night dinner at Verjus. We enjoyed a relaxing time after performing at a Society of Musical Arts concert just a few blocks away. The meal was spectacular starting with a duck foie gras terrine and a delicious beet salad. All of us had the spectacular venison medallions in a red wine reduction and black barley. It was out of this world!
