Great pizza, great food! After ordering delivery a few times and being very impressed, I had to go in and get a slice for lunch today. I have to say, I was happy I did. But if you can 't make it there, you can be confident that your delivery will be just as good as in store. They take extra care of your food when delivering. Seriously. They have hero boxes . Boxes for your heroes! Most places will wrap your sandwich in foil. Maybe they 'll put a piece of paper in between in a feeble attempt to avoid losing your cheese onto the foil. It doesn 't work. Your cheese gets stuck to the foil and the bread gets steamed into mush. These guys put your hero into its own box. All the ingredients stay in...
The pizza, entrees, and sides here are fantastic! However, I do wish they would reconsider the price of their garlic knots, which are $2 each for four. The local high school kids can easily find better deals in Floral Park, where they can get 12 for $3, and those are really good. You're just down the street from a large high school with 1,600 students, yet there's no effort to attract them. In the past, this pizzeria, under a different owner, had student specials and celebrated local sports wins with team photos on the walls, making it a bustling spot every day. It's a shame that businesses often overlook the community's needs and then wonder why they face challenges.
Since moving to Garden City, I've had my fair share of memorable, yet mostly unsatisfactory, pizza delivery experiences—ranging from long wait times and incorrect orders to just plain disappointing flavors. While VIP Pizza isn't the absolute best pizza or Italian food you'll ever taste, it's quite good, reasonably priced, and consistently reliable. When friends come over and want to order pizza, VIP is always my top recommendation. Be sure to try the Sicilian, Upside Down Sicilian, or Grandma slices!
I ordered delivery through Grubhub and had a disappointing experience. The Margherita pizza was the worst I've ever had. It arrived dry and cold, and honestly, if I had known it would taste like this, I would have been better off buying a frozen pizza from Shoprite. I couldn't even finish a single slice; it went straight into the garbage. This was very frustrating, but at least it helped me figure out what to avoid next time I order pizza. This restaurant is truly exceptional! The owner and staff are fantastic! You won’t find a better slice of pizza anywhere else. The Sicilian pizza is outstanding, and the grandma vodka slice is incredibly delicious. Don’t miss the mac and cheese slice and the chicken rolls either. The portion sizes are generous, and every dish is mouthwatering. Be sure to try the Kendall and the eggplant/chicken parm—it’s a must!
My best friends and I absolutely adore V.I.Pizza. It's such a charming little place with great prices and a fantastic menu. There are so many delicious options to choose from—I decided on the Grilled Chicken Salad, and it was excellent. The staff is extremely courteous and willing to assist with anything you need. I will definitely be coming back to V.I.Pizza.
Terrible ordering experience. Ordered online not a problem. After 45 minutes, my wife calls and gets a nasty response from whoever answered the phone. Delivery guys gets here an hour and 15 minutes later. Nice kid. Says manager sent him to queens village first. Buisness needs a map and manners. Pizza was half decent.
