I stopped by for a quick drink with my dog and found the place to be charming and spotlessly clean. The staff was attentive and friendly, especially towards my dog, which helped him feel more comfortable. He is usually anxious in busy environments, so this visit was a success in helping him acclimate. The music was great too, and I will definitely be returning. The price for a pint was also reasonable.
The Victoria Bar is a wee gem. . .great for a blether, a beer and occasionly live music. The staff are always welcoming and ready with a smile and one of the best pint of Tennents Lager you find will anywhere! A perfect example of an old school pub that thrives in new school world.
This cozy pub lives up to its reputation. It is owned by Greene King, but a recent rebranding has resulted in lower prices for popular beers. I frequent this place most weekends.
