First and last time I order from them. Ordered food to be delivered. Order put through at 17:20. Still hadn't arrived by 19:00. An hour after we ordered they rang us and told us they didn't have any burgers and I'd have to have fish instead. Then another 30 mins later they ring and tell us they have no bread buns. Basic items on the menu not available despite being available on the app. We waited 2 hours+ for food. Not up to scratch. Clearly unable to handle a simple order and get it out promptly, basic items not available (how do they have no bread!? Embarrassing. Countless better places to eat and order from in Northallerton. I just had fish and chips from Victoria, and I’ve ordered from here before with decent results, but this time it was truly disappointing. The chips were cold and soggy. My daughter requested a battered sausage and some scraps, but instead, she received a plain sausage that was only half of what her little boy had. We sat waiting for quite a while, and while we were there, someone behind the counter was swearing profusely and didn’t even apologize when they noticed us. I won’t be returning.
I stopped by a fish and chip shop in Northallerton on the evening of October 6, 2021, after spending a week exploring the Yorkshire Dales. I was looking for a quick meal before continuing my drive back to Portsmouth. I ordered fish, chips, curry sauce, and a can of diet coke. The cod was crispy and perfectly battered, and the chunky chips were more substantial than I anticipated. I will definitely return to this shop the next time I'm in the area!
I have long since said we need a decent fish and chip shop that offers home delivery in Northallerton. I was very happy with my meal delivered on time and nice and hot by a very cheerful delivery guy. Bravo Vicki grill for stepping up and successfully I might add, thanks guys . I would recommend .....

I used to go out of my way to visit this fish and chip shop, but now it’s a complete disaster! The fish was overcooked—extremely overcooked. I haven't eaten all day, yet I can't bring myself to eat this. I'm really disappointed and won't be returning.
Got the kids chicken nuggets. When the delivery came wasn't nuggets at all. It was I chicken breast cut up mean come on if ya didn't have nuggets. Why didn't you say you had none on the phone when ordering?
I went here to get me and my grandad some fish and chips whilst I was visiting.. I will definitely be going for a second visit next time I'm in the area. Thank you.
Nice chips most the time. Better than another close chippy, there's are too fat and chunky. Proper chippy chips here.

The portions are just huge even the kids meals, prefect chips beautiful fish what more can i say.
