When you walk into the restaurant,you are greeted and treated like family as you are escorted to the table and your chair pulled out for you as you're seated. Water and assorted breads are served as you peruse their menu. Drink order is taken and served promptly. The waiter shares the specials for the evening. Also, there's a price- fixed menu- appetizer, main entree,and dessert. Then, your order is taken. The appetizers come out and your main entree is brought out at a later date. You're never rushed through the meal. My appetizer was egg plant rollatini which was out of this world. Main entree was penne bolognese. Dessert was tiramisu. Cappuccino was excellent! We took my mom here for dinner and had a party of 12 adults on a Thursday evening. Our waiter was rude and had an attitude all night and was extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating. Everytime we spoke we were met with an attitude from him refusing to take dinner orders from people who were ready while waiting for one person who was still mulling. Even if he was annoyed no one else should have been able to tell. For the amount spent on dinner for 12 adults eating and drinking and the tip he was just extremely rude and as myself, and my brother and sister who were both there, have all worked in hospitality we were appalled at the horrendous attitude of our server Alex.
Willie had consistently fantastic food since he bought Villa d'Este from the original owner about 30 years ago. Last night I had the cold seafood salad for an appetizer, followed by brook trout with cut almonds in a lemon and white wine sauce, which was exquisite. For dessert, I had the Zabaglione, which is mixed a custard from the sugar of the confectioner Marsala wine and egg yolk in a double boiler, this custard is poured over strawberries blueberries and vanilla ice cream. It's like the sky in a goat. And I washed it with a double-expresso. Keep the big work Willie, I'm glad to see you again and again.
Arrogant, unattended waiter, very long wait for mediocre quality, very expensive food. William, the manager could take care less about the diners in the facility. He waited 1.5 hours for the main course to be served William who looked at the dining room, never came to our table to update us, nor apologize. Will never exceed their threshold again. Go to a local pizzeria for better food better service.

Amazing place. Food is excellent, I suggest bringing an appetite when going there. I have known William the owner and the staff for many years. Nicest people, extremely friendly.
Came here for my father's retirement dinner, the food was great and the service was fantastic. It was our first time here, definitely have plans to return again.

Absolutely incredible location, staff, service and hospitality. Would recommend to ANYONE looking for the best of the best.
