This is a lovely restaurant with an extensive menu. We had to wait a bit for our drinks, but the food came out quite quickly once we placed our order. The servers seemed to be distracted, as no one checked on our dessert for 20 minutes. Frustrated, we decided to ask for the bill, which took a while to process while we waited to pay with our card. There was a bit of confusion with someone trying to pay twice with their card, and it took a third attempt for the server to resolve it. The food was good, and the service was friendly, but it can be frustrating to wait when all you want to do is enjoy your meal and leave.
Drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive after ordering, and food took about 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. My family left before theirs could arrive after over an hour of waiting. There was no explanation or apology which would’ve helped. There were around 5 tables in total to serve so it wasn’t exactly busy. Staff just stood around inside so you couldn’t ask them anything.
good Italian. manager (older guy with pony dick) very welcoming. quite standard pizza offers, no real surprises on the menu, but what we had was well prepared and we enjoyed the meal very much. extra star added because when I went into the bar for a whisky after we paid the manager, insisted that it was recommended on the house.
great eating was just stunning. had one of the best Sunday dinners I ever had. the swarm was slowly roasted to perfection, yorkshire puddings were light and huge, veg and trimming perfectly cooked and all for £10.00 I can't wait to come back and have it back. beautiful atmosphere, huge portions and nice staff. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The cocktails were amazing as well. We were lucky to have nice weather, but I deducted a point for ambiance since they could use some heaters outside to keep guests warm. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
