I understand that running a restaurant can be challenging, especially during tough times. However, I was disappointed by my recent experience. I waited 25 minutes in the store while no phone orders were being taken, which I didn’t mind. What frustrated me was seeing other customers seated at booths, taking their orders and having them submitted, while I continued to wait patiently. After 35 minutes of this, I decided to leave because it seemed like they were only attending to dine-in customers. It felt a bit unfair and rude. I work in the food industry, so I know how stressful it can be. However, making someone wait two hours for a takeout order is simply unacceptable. I saw customers come in, sit down, order their food, eat, and leave—all while I was still waiting. In fact, someone who arrived an hour after me received their meal before I did. To top it off, my order wasn’t even large! I’m really disappointed because this used to be my favorite place for waffles and breakfast, but that’s no longer the case.
I visited the restaurant on the night of September 28th, around midnight. To be fair, there were only a few patrons, but the place was in a terrible state. All the tables were overflowing with trash, and there were people waiting to pay. The cook was doing his best under the circumstances, and I think he deserves a raise. I dined in for dinner and found the experience quite enjoyable. The meal was delicious, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for the food quality. The service was also commendable, receiving another 4 for the attentive staff. However, the atmosphere didn't quite match the rest, falling short with a rating of 2. Overall, for the price range of $10 to $20 per person, it was a satisfying experience worth trying!
