I joined my girlfriend and her friends for a few hours of drinks and food. After her friends left around 9 PM, we stayed a bit longer to finish our drinks and chat privately. During our conversation, we had a disagreement that escalated into a heated discussion at the corner of the bar. By then, the dining area was closed, and there were only 4-5 patrons at the bar, mostly sitting alone. We were mildly under the influence after spending about $150 together and were probably louder than usual, but we felt it was still acceptable for a bar atmosphere at that time.

The service was friendly, and the extensive menu offered a variety of delicious entrees. Our waitress was helpful, answering our questions and making recommendations for our party of five. We started with the cheese cures and hummus plate, both of which were delightful. The summer salad was absolutely fantastic—fresh, loaded with fruit, and served in a generous portion. Everyone in our group enjoyed their main courses as well. We chose this restaurant for its positive reviews and convenient location for a casual meeting, and we would definitely come back again.

Waypoint is a great spot for lunch. It can get a bit noisy with everyone chatting, but the location by the water is lovely, and I look forward to visiting in the summer. This was my first visit to the restaurant. I was meeting a friend who recommended it. I must admit I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.
