from the apple cheese bread to surbratlkornspitz to essigwurst, gulasch and ripperl the weinstadl in Linz/Urfahr has many traditional Austrian dishes in best quality to offer.The location is also a big plus, you don’t have to go to the country for home cooking, but come to foot, with the fast or fast train. the gastronomic garden with self-service and large, old trees really invites in the summer to stay on one or other bottle of the great wine offer. the non-smoking area is purely expedient, has neither ambiente nor cozyness and reminds of a large storage space. the also old, darkly decorated smoker area was already going through to suffocate, there is now apparently (at least in summer) but only more smoked in exceptional cases. in the weinstadl there are both hot and cold eating. we have eaten a really dreamy bratl there some time ago - this time we tried the brettljause around 6.50 and the slim bread by 2.80. also this time price performance super, quantities are very large. in the shaded garden there is self-service. we like to come back, among other things, because the weinstadl 7 days is the week there and during our spontaneous cherry visits it is usually not that easy to find one that has open.

the waiter at the output/accept was the catastrophe. his unkindness and superiority was extraordinary. I can give a point for eating. That was really good. nevertheless the weinstadl is not worth a trip - not recommended.
