Whisky John's Bar and Grill

We met some friends here for a drink and a bite to eat before going to a Generals game, a few weeks ago. Bar has a nice atmosphere and is fairly bright. We were with a group of people and the service was great. Good variety on the menu and prices are good too. It was late afternoon, and since we weren't quite ready for dinner yet, my husband and I split a smoked meat sandwich. It was delicious, and they actually brought it out on 2 plates with what looked like a full order of fries each. The other people in the group also enjoyed their meals - salads, wings. Our friends had ordered a couple of items to share and there was too much food.Location is very close to the rink, and we had no problem getting to the game on time. I would definitely recommend Whisky John's either before or after a game or concert in Oshawa.

Was in town for weekend. Did some surfing to see who had deals in various places, found this spot for .69 wings, and read some good reviews. Great deal on pitcher of beer, wings were OK, nothing special, some off flavors, that I have no interest in. I sure wish more places did (naked wings) no batter or breading
