So I made a reservation here for my going away dinner I’m moving out of state because I’d had a positive experience here once before when we walked in with no reservation . But after that I received multiple calls confirming the reservation which would be fine , but it made it seem like the staff lacked communication. Then I received a call an hour before the time and basically they asked me how long my party would be there since they had a large party soon after mine basically wanting to rush us out , I’m not one to ever leave a negative review but that is just so rude especially when I’ve worked customer service ! Stopped in to try to get some dinner on Thursday on my way to the airport and was told by the host that there was a wait and we couldn 't be seated right away (fine) he took our number and told us that he would call us when a table is available, there was no waiting area so I looked around on the patio and in the restaurant and there were no joke 10 empty tables... I asked if we could sit at one while we waited to be called (assuming the issue was they were not short on tables but wait staff), the host replied in a unhelpful borderline rude tone No, there are no tables available for you to sit at (again, there were 10 tables open). Since there was no were to wait we walked to the arcade down...
Update 6/24/23: I am disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I would not recommend going when they are busy, as we had to wait 10 minutes for the bartender to serve us. I felt sorry for her as she seemed overwhelmed. The service can be hit or miss, with some servers being attentive while others needing to be flagged down for water or coffee refills. Despite this, the food is consistently good. I particularly enjoyed the slightly crispy edges of the pancakes. Their drink selection is also great, with some delicious ales that pair well with breakfast. Overall, 2 coffees, 2 entrees, and 1 beer will cost you approximately $45.
A unexpected place with interesting beer and food at a nice and sunny location patio (if you want to sit outside). Got a tasty Everybody Stir It Up Hazy IPA and a Fremont Summer Ale . Then one pound of pacific clams steamed in garlic, shallot, butter, sherry broth. Served with toasted garlic bread delicious, better than expected. Was happy with all. Good place in Renton! A beautiful home town Pub tucked away like a hidden gem! This is a fantastic spot for a quick breakfast/lunch! Or if you want to meet up and hang with friends and chill and enjoy the atmosphere they definitely have it all! Food was delicious and the drinks were definitely strong! I will definitely be back!
