Originating from North Yorkshire- 'our standard ' fish n chips in my home town of Harrogate has no equal for taste, quality, service and presentation. Willows Fish n Chips has just equaled that bar if not surpassed it ! Staff were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable- the Snapper was crunchy on the outside batter wise and perfectly cooked on the inside. Chips were in the same class and seasoned just right.The fish served in an aerated box and the chips not over wrapped so as to not promote the soggy syndrome! A good fish n chip shop can also be by how their oil for cooking is- which (as I peered in) was clean and clear.Even the much maligned crab sticks had something about them making...
Small shop but great quality. The fish was so huge, a basket for 2 can feed 4 people!! Fish tasted good and the scallop was equally huge. The batter doesn't leave an oily residue tasting on the tongue. Definitely coming back. Don't even bother going to freo for fish n chips peeps!!

The quality is excellent, and the portions are generous! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh fish and chips without having to travel too far!

They have had a pretty good fish and chips since they opened up afew months back. Hope they keep it up! Staff is friendly and one of the great f c stores that have EFTPOS!
