I've been wanting to try this spot! First time I attempted it was the day after Thanksgiving and they were closed. Wah-waaaaaaaaah This time, my mom, my daughter, her boyfriend and I went here for lunch before going to the movies. I can see why most who eat here take their food to go, because it's pretty small inside. There's a deli counter when you first walk in with various sweets. We placed our order and settled down at the round table in the middle of the small shop. Of course for review purposes, we had to try a variety of things. When I read the reviews I was sold on giving them a visit but add in they had Lumpia I was really excited to give them a try. Although in a unique location on the far side of Rivers they are truly worth a visit. It is clean and well kept not only in the dinning room but also the Kitchen. After fasting for a doctor's appt, I knew only one thing could satiate my starving desire. A nice juicy burger...and not from a chain restaurant! Locally owned Boo-yah Cafe has been a place I've been meaning to try, and the reviews regarding their burger lured me in. It was spot on! Big juicy tasty burger, cooked to order with plenty of hot seasoned fries. I could not finish the whole thing. When you walk in, the atmosphere is simple; it’s clearly a family-owned spot with a bit of a dive feel, but it’s warm and welcoming. I went ahead and ordered a bacon cheeseburger along with some cheese fries. The woman at the counter was quick to assure us that they use never-frozen, handmade half-pound patties, which instantly made me excited for what was to come.
The burger was enormous—I would even venture to say it was bigger than half a pound! It was incredibly satisfying, and all the toppings tasted fresh. Ok my first review so here goes, me and my girlfriend were visiting from Tennessee. We were greeted and told to look over the menu. We both got burgers. I got the regular cheeseburger and she had the Mushroom and Swiss. The burgers are half pound MONSTERS!! The owner is a very charismatic and funny guy. He made the visit worth the time. The burgers arrived after about 15 minutes because it's cooked to order with 100% beef. OMG. The juices of the burger ran down my arm. It was amazing. Without a doubt, the best burger this country boy has ever ate. She LOVED her burger and I see the grease on her plate letting me know her burger was the same way. I ordered 10 wings for $10.99, and they were absolutely delicious! They offer a wide range of sauces that you can mix and match, all made to order. I chose Billy and Sweet Chili, and they were fantastic. You absolutely have to try the Lumpia; it’s served piping hot and tastes amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The only downside is that the restaurant is small, with tables seating a maximum of four people, and they do not offer fountain drinks. Wing fanatic and I'd always passed by this place so why not?! We decided to stop for some food before heading downtown and tried this place! Their wings are big, fried hard but still juicy and they give you tons of lemon pepper. We split a basket of fries and some lumpia and were full. Their soda and juice selections (although canned) are good too. It's not a very big spot but there was no one there so we were able to dine in. It's very mom and pop and the owner even stopped by to clear our plates, ask if we enjoyed it and welcome us back. Wish they were open a little later but I understand that we all have lives. Will be back to try a burger.

Yooooooo.... This place is the business. We we're looking for something quick to take home during the thunderstorms and this hit the spot. The chef and the counter lady are hella nice and helpful. I was unsure about what flavors I wanted and I was able to taste the wet flovors before making my final decision. The chef makes his seasonings himself. I got the mild... Has a slight kick. Nothing too heavy and the sweet chilli or something like that. This had a little more kick than the mild. Both were great. Wings were well done like I like them but I'd be back just for the service.
