The best veggie full English I’ve had. Thankfully, no make believe mushed up pretend sausages, proper veggie made from scratch croquettes, great quality vegetables used clearly. Coffees are good, a tad overpriced but overall super happy with the experience. Gorgeous antiquated decor, lovely gardens and leisure areas.

We had a lovely meal and the service was good. There's plenty of room in the large garden to eat al fresco or enjoy a cigar. Unfortunately, when we returned to the bar for an after dinner drink, it was absolutely packed and deafeningly loud with everyone shouting over each other. So, I recommend dining early.

We discovered this little gem on a sunny Saturday afternoon and we spent a very lovely few hours in the garden enjoying a few drinks and the sunshine. The building is so full of character. The staff were friendly and although we weren't there for food other people's plates looked delicious

Great place for lunch. The sun was shining and we were able to sit outside. The menu had a great choice of meals to choose from and there was a great choice of cask ales from micro breweries for those who like that sort of thing. Will definitely have lunch there again. Thankyou to all the staff who helped make my Mums 90th surprise party so special yesterday. The young lad who took all our individual orders and served us was brilliant Nothing was too much trouble. Every person thoroughly enjoyed the food and venue. We had a great time. Thankyou

We went for brunch and the food was great. Really tasty and generous portion sizes, the croissants were especially good. The staff were all friendly and it was dog friendly (we don't have a dog but our little girl loved looking at them).

Called in without booking on a Sunday, The Roast beef lunch was one of the best ,pink beef,huge crunchy Yorkshire pud, good selection of veg, excellent value
