On the positive side, there were a few highlights that give me hope for the future. One standout was their attentiveness to customers; they kindly validated my parking, which made the dining experience more convenient. Additionally, the restaurant's location within the mall made it very accessible, allowing for an easy in-and-out experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite nice. This was our first time trying hot pot, and I realized that we might have been adding all the ingredients at once, which isn’t how it’s usually done. However, our overall experience was outstanding—11 out of 10! It was fantastic. When I accidentally spilled some water, staff members quickly surrounded me with napkins and helped in a non-intrusive way, which I truly appreciated. When the large ladle fell into the hot pot, our waiter immediately appeared with a napkin and kindly warned us not to touch it, as it was extremely hot. He was incredibly attentive and respectful. Xiang Hotpot is a fantastic destination for hotpot enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The extensive selection of fresh ingredients and flavorful broths resulted in a truly delicious meal. From the tender beef to the fish paste and fresh vegetables, every dish was impressive. The staff were courteous and attentive. The decor was lovely and intricately designed, creating a charming ambiance reminiscent of strolling through an ancient street in Asia. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, Xiang Hotpot is definitely worth a visit, and I would happily return!
I had my first hotpot experience in Flushing, and I absolutely loved it! Even though we had to wait over 30 minutes, it was definitely worth it. The lighting created a perfect atmosphere for our meal. We ordered the mushroom broth and the beef oil broth, both of which we enjoyed immensely (check out the pictures below!). The food arrived quickly after we placed our order, and it was delicious, particularly with their amazing sauce bar. I can't wait to return the next time we're in the area! First time having hotpot in flushing and I absolutely loved it! We waited over 30 minutes but worth the wait. The lighting was perfection, set the mood completely. We ordered the mushroom broth and the beef oil one (which we loved the bear see picsbelow! The food came fast once we ordered and was so good with a robust sauce bar. We’re looking forward to coming back whenin the area!
Reaching the restaurant was a bit chaotic because of the bustling street and limited parking, and we weren't sure where to go. However, once we got inside, we were thrilled. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the hot pot was delicious—especially the cute bear-shaped sauce. That said, we were slightly disappointed with the selection of sauces considering the price we paid.
My friend and I wanted to try this place so we came for the first time! The restaurant is so beautiful with strung lights and traditional Chinese decor. The ingredients were all fresh and high quality. The flavor of the broth was really tasty as well! On top of that the waiter was really friendly and explained everything to us very kindly! We'll definitely be back!
