Yamako Japanese Restaurant

For me this place is my go to whenever i crave sushi and i am alone( many of friends are not sushi fans so i end up delighting myself alone) They have very clean and comfortable seating and not so packed as most of the food is taken out. Apart for regular sushi rolls , bento boxes and chinese food , there is ramen as well. I will be honest that ramen noodle is not that great but everything else is top notch. Sushi rolls are very yummy and saucy. Service is always great and on time.

I hadn't eaten at Yamako in quite a long time. Decided to give it a try one day while up at Peninsula and was blown away with how good it was. The Maki Combo (tuna, salmon, cucumber) was the best I think I've ever had. Plenty of fish. Amazing fish:rice ratio. It's a tiny bit more expensive than the sushi places around but WELL WORTH IT for the QUALITY! Since then I've ordered it a few times for delivery and it's my go-to sushi place, now.

I like this place. It has a very neighborhood type feel, sort of like the local eatery. Sushi is pretty good. I tell DH that I use this restaurant as the minimum standard for my sushi needs. Eg if it's better than this place, it's pretty good, worse I won't eat there. This is the place I will go if I want sushi in this neck of the woods. Small place. But I haven't had to wait or else I just go to London drugs to kill time....

Brilliant Japanese restaurant. Many of their dishes are to die for, and their portion sizes are great. The food is always hot when we pick it up, and it never fails to please our whole family. We have been here a good number of times to eat in, but ordering take out from Yamako is also a great option. You won’t regret heading here for dinner if you’re looking for some excellent, fresh Japanese food. Réservez une table maintenant

We’ve been on sushi marathon lately and we decided to dine here for the first time. Service: fast, staff very attentive to our orders and needs Foods were tasty and fresh, location has ample parking, the resto is clean and yes, busy and we loved the price We recommend this sushi place to anyone!!!

While the food was adequate, the people working there sat and had their dinner while we were having ours. I felt like I was intruding by asking for something. Also had to ask for water refill. Not sure it's the best in town. But then choice is slim these days.

The food was satisfactory (including kimchi fried rice, agedashi tofu, and miso soup). However, the service was slow and it was difficult to grab the server's attention. The table was extremely sticky and the walls and chairs showed signs of wear and tear.

Favourite place for sushi in South Surrey. Excellent food and friendly staff. Have yet to be disappointed by this place. Prices are not as insane as some of the other equally delicious sushi restaurants in the area also. Réservez une table maintenant

This place in South Surrey is always fresh, fast, and friendly! I love the Red Dragon Roll and miso soup here. It's a fantastic spot for great service, expertly made sushi, and the top-notch Red Dragon Roll in town.

Yamako undoubtedly serves the best Philadelphia rolls I have ever tasted. I would give them a perfect 10/10 rating any day! Their rolls are consistently fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced.
