Whether it's authentic Hunan cuisine or not, if you enjoy spicy Chinese food that isn't Sichuan, you will likely appreciate this restaurant. The dishes here are tasty, although not exceptional, as the best Hunan food can be found in Hunan (I was born there, so I know how delicious the food is there). While I can't say that the food here is extremely authentic, it comes pretty close for what is available in Australia. There are some differences in terms of spiciness and ingredients, but overall, this is a favorite spot for my family.

I visited this restaurant with my friends from Hunan province. They all spoke highly of this place for anyone interested in trying authentic Hunan cuisine. I particularly suggest trying the sour radishes with chicken stir fry, smoked bean curd with chilies, and pork belly with pickled chilies. These dishes are not overly spicy. I also recommend trying the traditional noodles, which my friend eats every day in Hunan. She mentioned that it is a staple in their daily diet, similar to how bread, rice, or pasta is for us.

A very authentic Chinese restaurant that is worth a try! Fast and friendly service, aplenty of dishes to choose from and reasonable prices. My favorite was the cauliflower (Stir Fry), it sounds simple but it's really good! The Pork Stir Fry with green chili is great too! Only con: It is quite small and can get tight during busy hours.Other than that, great food and customer service. Will visit again!

Food’s fantastic, especially their steam fish head with pickled chilli — 雙色魚頭 is a must try dish. Unfortunately the store is extremely small and you must make a reservation before heading to the store. If you don’t make a booking, you’ll have to wait for more than an hour for your turn. 10/10 for their food, 2/10 for their space availability. Réservez une table maintenant

Busy busy at night and easy to see why. $11.80 set menu options of meat, veg and rice is good value. Choose from chicken and mushroom, been brisket and potato, bean curd puff and pork, beans and mince, eggplant amongst others. Let's Bab had a lock on my takeaway dollars. Until now.

We went to lunch today. This is lunch special for $11.8 one meat one veg plus $1 for rice. Beef is tasty and Tofu also spicy enough. Reasonable price and good location close to train station. Easy parking.

The noodle soups at this restaurant have a delicious home-cooked taste that warms the soul during the winter. The prices are very reasonable and the seating is comfortable. I will definitely be returning.

I ordered the pickled bean, pork rice noodles, as it's a traditional Hunan noodles. It's so yummy, a bit spicy and broth is full of flavours. The service is attentive and polite. Réservez une table maintenant

Can’t believe they are only 3.7 star. The go-to place for our family and friends. Highly recommended!
