I am currently working a lot this week and decided to treat myself to some Chinese food. I have had many disappointing Chinese meals in the past, so I was hesitant to try it again. However, based on a recommendation from a colleague, I decided to give Yue Yee a try and I was pleasantly surprised. The hot and sour soup was the best I have ever tasted, with a perfect balance of flavors. The king prawn dishes were generous and flavorful. I usually stick to my usual dishes when trying out new restaurants, but this meal hit all the right spots - umami, sweet, sour, and not too spicy. This is the best quality and most affordable chip shop around. There aren't many options in Wythenshawe, but this place beats all the Chinese takeaways in the area. I've been a fan of Wendy's for a few years now because it's close to me, and I've noticed the quality getting even better over time.
