I absolutely love this place and give it 5 stars! The desserts are fantastic, and the prices are fair for what you get. It's my favorite ice cream spot, and I've been a loyal customer for a couple of years now, always enjoying great customer service—until today. I walked in excited, but the girl with the nose piercings had a terrible attitude, making me feel quite unwelcome. I initially thought she might just be having a rough day, but after checking the reviews, it seems this isn't the first time she's behaved this way. Unfortunately, she was also rude to other customers. It's really disheartening to see someone so disrespectful in such a wonderful place.
I want to clarify that this was my first time trying the ice cream from this shop. Their tea and boba are quite good, and the portion size for two scoops of ice cream is absolutely incredible. The flavors are delightful—creamy and sweet. However, the major downside was the customer service. The woman who took our order seemed to be in a terrible mood, serving customers as if she would rather be anywhere else. I can only assume she was dealing with some personal issues, but it definitely affected her demeanor. Overall, I would say this is a pretty decent ice cream shop for those around Bergenfield, with reasonable prices and a clean environment.
I'm not quite sure what the recent reviews are talking about, but I can confidently say that Zai's has the best desserts and drinks in New Jersey! Everything there is always fresh and delicious. You can really feel the love that goes into everything Zai serves. I enjoy stopping by on the weekends for a crepe or bubble waffle too. The s'mores bars and cupcakes are always fresh and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth in the Bergen County area!
I've visited this place a few times, and while the ice cream is enjoyable (after all, ice cream is generally delicious), I usually refrain from writing reviews. However, the s’mores bar and cookies I've tried consistently seem a bit dry, if not stale. Perhaps it's just not to my taste? I'm not sure, but the baked goods I've sampled here rarely taste fresh, as if they've been sitting out in the display for a week. I think I may have to consider this my last visit.

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection and reasonable prices for what they provide. It's definitely worth a visit just for the Mac Chip ice cream, which I've never seen anywhere else. I'm pleased to see a Bergenfield business thriving over the years—it's well deserved!
Very great macaroons. Had a pleasant conversation with the girl working at the counterwith black hair . The girl went out of her way to read me the nutritional facts in each milk so i could know the sugar content. Great customer service ??
We love this place. The portions are super generous and the family is lovely. We live close by and walk there on nice days all the time. Very loved by the community. Praying so much success for you guys!

Pretty mediocre bakery. Macarons were great, but the cupcakes were insanely dry. Same with the cakes and cookies just sugar bombs.
