Great food, good ambience! One of the best Bao Buns I tried! Your house soy sauce was also epic! We were here for Date Night on a Saturday with the woman! We wanted to try out a few things, so decided to skip alcohol this time, they have some good options (lightly expensive I felt). Overall a great experience with your food, friendly staff, ambience, music. Lighting could be a bit dimmer to give more imagination! We ordered the following: Veggie Spring Rolls 4/5 Aubergines Nigiri 5/5 Chicken Pot Sticker 4/5 Crispy Chicken Bao 5/5 Spicy Chicken Bao 5/5 Togarashi Fries 4/5 Carrot cake Dessert 3/5 Will try again for the Bao Buns and also some Entrees next time!
I've been here six times, always great food, always great service! This visit came with my UBER PICKY parents, sister and niece. My parents eat REAL Asian cuisine, such as Chinese, Vietnamese restaurants in Windsor, ON or Ann Arbor, but they really enjoyed the dishes here. Dad ate everything he ordered, not home boxes! Mom ate most of her and she liked everything, including our sushi. We had chocolate cakes and cheesecakes for dessert. So good, there were no pictures! Lol
Early on Tuesday night. Not crowded and had a lot of staff for the crowd. Sushi quickly came out, but my shrimp-sumai sum took over 40 minutes later. I even had to ask. Could the kitchen be a problem? It was a good thing, but wait wasn't. Go to the carrot cake. For a cake like a cake version of carrot cake, it's one of the best I had. The service was just okay. The food deserved the stars.
First time trying Zao Jun! The service was amazing, everyone is friendly and the food came out quickly. We tried multiple dishes such as chicken bao bun, lo mein, rock shrimp, egg rolls, potstickers and general tso chicken. Food tastes like fresh ingredients are used and nice flavor. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the modern decor. Highly recommend to try!
