The Bar Manager is awesome here, always has been. His service & cocktails have always been A grade. Glad to see that hasn't changed. However, I thought the blonde young girl on last night was not overly pleasant for most of the night. I ordered a rum & diet coke, but was given what she later told me was Pepsi. I usually don't mind Pepsi, but this tasted nothing like it. More like the dregs of flat no frills cola. It was the worst tasting rum I've ever had in my life. If they weren't so expensive I would have left it on the bar where I ordered it, full. Absolutely disgusting. Nearly made me sick trying to drink it. Loved the change to R & B music (since last I was there) but be good if the DJ...
Once Upon a Time. Hmmm... I recall this place when it first started a few years ago. We had sushi here, had functions held, boys night out, and casual gatherings. It was better back then than now, maybe somehow it got a little boring? Sushi is still very average, some good, but average with decent prices to match what was offered. In the end, great of gatherings, not so much for dining sorry. I rate it 6/10 for overall experience.
Went on a Friday night for and early dinner with our Groupon dinner deal. Place is quite nice, music played in the background and was not too loud. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient...the Japanese dishes served were ok but really just a tick above sushi train quality. Considering we only paid $39.00 for two plus drinks it was still good value for money but I would want to pay their full price for what you get.
Booked for my birthday, I had a large group with me. the atmosphere was very flat none of the staff seemed happy looked to be lots of tension with the staff, the decor was run down. Felt like they did anything to get more money out of us. We ordered cocktails before 9pmreceived them acouple of minutes after 9pm, to be told we have to pay full price as we received them after 9 even though we ordered before 9.I'll never go back.

Atmosphere is beautiful very moulin rouge.
Gentleman was very pleasant and well mannered was very good whilst we ordered and paid.
The sushi tastes very cheaply made and is lacking in real ingredients, waiter does not return very quickly for seconds.
The dumplings were very squishy and not quite right.
For $20 a head plus a drink the quality does not come up to par, sorry won't be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience. The funky ambient setting along with the upbeat music really set a joyous mood.We grazed over a multitude of shard dishes which were all absolutely delicious, a real credit to the chef. The waiting staff and bar staff were super friendly too!
Had a sushi night here with my husband and his boss/wife and had a great time. It was fun and funky, and the sushi was all fresh. It was a shame about the 1 plate per person at a time as it always disappeared so quickly, but other than that, it was a good night out.
Up the stairs is the bar and open area for dancing, lounge seats around the outside. Upstairs bathrooms, opulent mirrors. They play popular music and R&B, cocktails and no cover charge. Good space that you never feel crowded.

I'd give it a 0 if i could. I think it's the worst service i've ever come across in a bar or restaurant, and that's saying something since i eat and drink out very often.
Outside they state unlimited sushi for $19. On their website you can book for unlimited sushi. You turn up and they say its no longer available. Poor.
