Quite often difficult to find restaurants on Monday evenings in rural France but this is Apt so should be a bit more going on !Menu on the pavement looked fair enough with some reasonable choices but the food itself was sadly lacking in imagination,presentation and taste !The actual dining area inside was not that welcoming although the staff were able to offset that aspect..we all chose a la carte dishes which were generally very average and not at all appealing when served up...hard boiled eggs with a dressed salad as a starter which could have been so much tastier and better presented followed by the house burger with a pesto sauce...not good !No carafes available for some reason that evening so had to order a more expensive bottle which was very good at 22 euros !I would try and find an alternative venue on any future visit to the town and maybe wait until Tuesday when the working week actually gets going and other eateries open up again !

I ate here with my parents, we had the tapas to start which was basically a few hams and chorizo cut up on a plate. I had the duck which was overcooked, my mum had the chicken and chips which was fairly mediocre, not enough sauce. My dad had the daube de joue de boeuf dish which he did enjoy. Good café gourmand for dessert. Food was ok, service was ok but not amazing. The food was pretty expensive for what it was. The only saving grace was the evening sun that shines on the terrasse right until sunset.

We had a fine meal. Good food, generous portions, fresh ingredients. The service was a bit slow and uneven. We just drove in from Marseille where we had amazing meals all week. I suppose our expectations are now a bit high. Maybe I can believe some of the other reviews about the service, but the food is just fine. I certainly didn't have a "very bad salad".

.because she ate here.In a list:1) Unwelcoming waitress 2) Tough and chewy duck dish.3) Cold chicken dish4) We were not given the wine we chose, ended up paying 22 euros for bottom line cotes du Rhone.5) Paid 54 euros for the meal. Would have been better spent on a croque monsieur in a service station.Don't go there.

Located in centre of Apt. Ordinary overpriced French food. Friendly but very slow service. Decent wine list.
