Let's start with the obvious. Yes it's expensive compared to the food you could get in the village. But given the view, and the quality of food for such a place, prices are really decent. I always stop here when I'm skiing. They have a huge outdoor patio with a perfect view. The choice of food is quite large. All of it is homemade. And I have to admit it's surprisingly good for this type of place. The bolognese pasta are good and the salads are good as well. Try of one the pastries for dessert. I tried the chocolate cake which was exquisite and the apple pie as well

Went there a very windy and snowy day and was happy to get a nice meal at affordable price. I still recommend it for the view !

This is a self service restaurant at the top of the mountain in Grand Bornand with fantastic views over the valley, mountains and slopes. It's a perfect spot. Great range of meals from salads, traditional tartiflette to plates of Chips to deserts. All the staff are lovely - especially the chef. There's a separate bar to get beers, soft drinks and coffee. A great place to stop any time of day.

Siruated at the top of the ski lift, it's a great location to stop-off at to have a quick drink before you ski down. Dining was a bit of a chore as it was quite noisy and crowded. Besides, they'd hidden the toilets so was forced to find an alternative. The only negative, apart from the apparent lack of a toilet, was the very large terrace which, due to the large amount of people using it, made it difficult to find a seat and get served.Other than that, I would say an 'OK' experience, nothing to write home about.

A delicious home made (and very generous portion) spaghetti bolognese atop the mountain with a beautiful view. The staff are very friendly and the view is incredible. I sat and ate my lunch whilst watching the keen skiers daring to have a go at all the jumps in the snow park. Great atmosphere. I will be back :)

A true local mountain top experience ! Unique in Grand Bornand.Managed by a local couple perfectly integrated in the Grand Bo scene, you will see everyone up there. On snowy days it's the perfect spot to catch your breath by the fire with a cup (or a glass) of anything you wish for. On a sunny day, the terrasse is absolutely fantastic. If food matters to you this is the place to. 2 options : Self (you load your tray, pay, seat and enjoy your lunch or hot drink with sweets) or Brasserie on a heated veranda (nice local menu, with many options). They have a Chef and a Pastry Chef. The Raspberry tart is one of the best I ever had, and the chocolate tart is perfect.Prices are really reasonable for the quality of the scenery. If I ski, I never miss a change to go up there !This year you can also go up there AT NIGHT. The owner will pick you up in a 12 seater Hagglunds (a snow tank !!!) and you will enjoy an amazing ride up and down with a delightful dinner at the top...with champagne ! Wow.
