We came here for lunch on our one day visit. The decor was absolutely beautiful, and was all made by the owner… Beautiful mosaic and seashell mirrors and lights. Food was equally impressive, and beautifully served. The three of us had one of the two or three course meals and all of us were very happy with our choices. Highly recommended!
At lunchtime today we discovered one of the best restaurants we have come across during our three-year residence in South-East France. We were not looking for 'fine dining' or Michelin stars, but a really enjoyable birthday lunch close to the sea and in the open air. And we found it at Le Piccolo! In cheerfully colourful but not overwhelming surroundings,we and the small dog who accompanies us whenever permitted in restaurants were courteously ppwelcomed. We opted for the menu at 39 euros, which enabled us to choose our favourite dishes for a four-course meal. The fish soup was impeccably served in a generous pot with all the usual accompaniments. The sole meunière was perfectly cooked, parting easily from the bones, and was complemented by simple but very flavoursome carrots and courgettes. The cheese course was not at all over-facing,as it can so often be - a mini-disc of goats' cheese and a small and succulent wedge of Brie. From a choice of desserts we were able to concoct our favourite combinations of ices and sorbets. If this is starting to sound like one of those critic's reviews by the local paper in return for a free meal, we must say that we are a retired couple with no interest other than to praise this small and delightful restaurant for making my birthday very happy,
manger est incroyable, j'adore ça, super ambiance, bons prix pour la qualité de la nourriture et oh la, en tout cas je mangerai ici encore. d'ailleurs, je déjeunerai et dînerai à des jours différents et selon les propriétaires. sont aussi des gens vraiment sympas. salut!
nous sommes venus déjeuner lors de notre visite d'une journée. la décoration était absolument magnifique et a été réalisée par le propriétaire. magnifique miroir et briquet en mosaïque et moules. manger était également impressionnant et joliment servi. Nous avons tous les trois pris l'un des deux ou trois repas du curseur et nous avons tous été très satisfaits de nos décisions. hautement recommandé!
we have discovered one of the best restaurants we know during our three-year residency in Southeast France today. we were not looking for fine ess or Michelin stars, but a really enjoyable birthday dinner near the sea and in the open. and we found it in le piccolo! in cheerful colorful, but not overwhelming environments, we and the little dog that accompanied us when allowed in the restaurants were kindly pped. we chose the menu in euro that made it possible to choose our favourite dishes for a four-course menu. the fish soup was perfectly served in a generous pot with all the usual buses. the sole meunière was perfectly cooked, slightly cut off from the bones, and was supplemented by simple but very tasteful carrots and courgettes. the cheese course was not exaggerated as it can be so often a mini disc of goat cheese and a small and juicy wedge of brie. from the selection at desserts we were able to conceive our favorite combinations from ice and sorbets. when this begins to sound like one of the critics of local time in opposition to a free meal, we must say that we are a retired couple without interest, except to praise this small and delightful restaurant to make my birthday very happy,
