Really liked the oysters and the fish. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff, forthcoming and ready to accommodate wishes Much better than it looks.

We had travelled to Saintes and found this restaurant. We decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed at all. The prices were good for the lunch menu and the food was great. I will return on my visit to this area again.

We stopped here by chance on New Year's Day and found the place packed - had to wait until a table was vacated, but it was well worth the delay. A great choice of seafood platters - we had the medium one, which was plenty for 2 people - as well as the usual a la carte choices, including choucroute. Excellent service from a friendly young waiter and a very reasonable overall charge. Definitely worth a visit.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoy it. Great pub-like atmosphere. Menu is more-or-less the same as everywhere but we have never been disappointed.

visited with friends for a meal and we had the dog with us. He is a husky so not small.! staff let the dog into the restaurant and immediately gave him a bowl of water and then took our orders. Food well presented and very tasty can highly recommend the burger. Service very good and nothing too much trouble, Reasonably priced too.

Great restaurant to stop in if you are in the area. We came for lunch on a recent trip to Bordeaux to start a river cruise. The staff cordially greeted us and when served our fish lunch, it was very good.

Stopped here for lunch on a group tour and wondered how it would be. Great! Food was very good. Service, despite a big crowd, was good. I would say it's worth a stop.
