So this is kinda of a “Speakeasy” as in it used to be, and other than a small chalkboard outside, you will very easily walk by it. If you see the big “815” outside and what LOOKS like an apartment building or office door, yup that is it. Go upstairs and they you will find this place. Once inside the place is perfect, like an artsy down to earth kick back to the 1920’s style. All kinds of walks of life come here, old, young, suits or grunge, no one cares and anyone and everyone can fit in with no judgment. The drinks were fantastic, the staff was amazing, in particular the owner (Sara) who I talked to at length. All this at a relatively low tab at the end of the night. I would not hesitate to...
What a find! If you didn't know where you were going, it would be super easy just to walk right by the very unassuming entrance to 815 (I guess that's the idea of the speakeasy! On the night we went, there was no secret door or password required just a simple flight of stairs to transport you to a very chill vibe establishment. We were a small group of 5 and we found a couple of vintage couches to hang out on and enjoy their cocktails. The best name of a cocktail ever goes to Overpriced and Uninspired, based on a previous yelp review. I love how they just OWNED it. Not a lot of later night options mid week so this was a great place to find in Manchester and we'll definitely be back!
As a first-time visitor last night, I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is both stylish and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The drinks were excellent, and I could easily write a whole book about how amazing the focaccia bread was. My wife and I both enjoyed the duck tacos, and honestly, we should have ordered another serving—they were that good! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone at 815!!!
This is my favorite restaurant, without a doubt. They have a fantastic atmosphere and vibe, the staff is amazing and friendly, and their cocktails are both unique and delicious. I've never encountered such a wide variety of creative drinks anywhere else. I highly recommend 815... five stars simply aren't enough! Réservez une table maintenant
815 is a hidden gem. The staff is amazing and the drinks are unique. The only problem is I’m too much of a lightweight to try all the ones I want in a night! Great excuse to keep coming back though as well as the wonderful atmosphere. Pro tip: their whisky nights and flatbreads are amazing.
This is a cool and unique place. You won't find better cocktails anywhere, and the ambience is a way. Having a perfect Manhattan while sitting in a conversation in downtown Manchester is great. It is a great deviation from the same old, same old, you will experience somewhere else.
